Runway Crossings

All crossings must be explicitly coordinated with the appropriate controller.

Phraseology

GND → LC: “Local, Ground. One to cross runway 4L at C3.”
LC → GND: “One to cross 4L at C3 approved.”
GND → LC: “Crossing complete.”

The local controller may also initiate by announcing: “Cross runway 27 at Bravo.”

Taxi Routing by Direction of Flight

During high volume, taxi aircraft to the runway appropriate for direction of flight:

Direction	Runways
NORTH	36L/18R, 36C, 36R/18L
SOUTH	36L/18R, 18C, 36R/18L
EAST	36C/18C, 36R/18L
WEST	36L/18R

Division of Responsibilities

• Taxiway Sierra (S) and all extensions south of Taxiway Bravo (B) to Runway 36C are delegated to Local Control to prevent runway incursions.
