Runway Crossings

All crossings must be explicitly coordinated:

Phraseology

GND → LC: “Local, Ground. One to cross runway 4L at C3.”
LC → GND: “One to cross 4L at C3 approved.”
GND → LC: “Crossing complete.”

The local controller may initiate by announcing: “Cross runway 4L at C3.”

Multiple Runway Crossings

Aircraft may be cleared to cross the common hold-short lines of runways 4L and 36 in one transmission after coordination with Local Control.
