Clearance Delivery — FSM ATCT

IFR Departures

• Assign 5,000 ft (or maintain 5,000 and expect requested altitude 10 minutes after departure) for aircraft requesting 5,000 ft or above.
• Do not assign IFR altitudes below 3,000 ft MSL without first coordinating with the appropriate radar controller.

Block Altitudes

• Below 5,000 ft MSL: assign the lowest requested block altitude or 3,000 ft (whichever is higher), then expect filed block altitude 10 minutes after departure.

VFR Flight Plans

• Enter VFR flight plan information into vNAS for VFR aircraft that will operate in both the FSM and FYV radar areas.
